Mission Statement

Our mission at May Creek Memory Care Cottages is to provide a secure and caring environment for all residents. We will offer choices and opportunities that are supportive of each resident's values and abilities. We will strive in all our actions to maintain individuality, independence and most of all dignity.

Our Philosophy of Health Care

Our primary Health Care Goal is to assist each person, as individuals, to live with the greatest degree of independence and dignity as possible. This is accomplished privately and respectfully.

Each individual residing at May Creek Memory Care Cottages has a right to the same freedoms and security enjoyed by other residents.  Care will be centered on the person and be carried out through staff approaches and an environment conducive to their needs.  We believe that persons with dementia are able to and should experience joy, comfort and meaning in their lives. We believe that the best care occurs as a result of healthy relationships between staff, family and residents.

We understand that dementia is both a community and family disease. Caregivers, clergy, volunteers, staff and family will receive support through group opportunities, appropriate education on the disease, effective communication and approaches.
