Respite Care
Respite Care is available at the May Creek Assisted Living Lodge as an option to Leech Lake area families and residents. Respite means time away or a break from the usual. We offer a furnished apartment and our full assisted living services on a temporary basis for those desiring respite.
Respite Care may be appropriate when:
- The main caretaker needs to be away for a period of time.
- A short or extended recovery is needed after surgery or rehab.
- Post hospital care or assistance can't be accomplished at home.
Respite Care includes:
- Three meals
- Furnished apartment and linens
- Weekly housekeeping
- 24 hour staff
- Emergency call system
- Transportation to local appointments
Additional personal care services can be arranged according to resident need and desire. An estimate of costs and recommended services will be discussed during the Registered Nurse interview and evaluation. The Registered Nurse collects information about your needs, health history and personal preferences, to plan how best we can serve you during your stay at the Assisted Living Lodge.
